Le four !!! (ou le fer à repasser)
"Instructions :
Things You'll Need
Oven
Warped record
Oven mitts
2 sheets of glass
1 - Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. This is the temperature that will warm the records for a period of time without completely melting them. Wait 10 minutes for the oven to be adequately preheated.
2 - Place the warped record in between two sheets of glass. This will apply a certain amount of pressure to the album without breaking it.
3 - Put on oven mitts and stick the record and sheets of glass into the preheated oven. Be careful not to burn yourself. Place the record on the middle rack.
4 - Keep an eye on the record. The glass will allow you to see it flattening. The entire process should only take a few minutes. Make sure not to let the record get too hot, or it will melt and be forever ruined.
5 - Remove the record and glass from the oven using oven mitts. Gently place the record and glass on a table to cool. Don't move it until it is completely cool. After 5-10 minutes it should be cooled off, flattened, and ready to be played.
Tips & Warnings :
- Always handle the glass sheets with oven gloves.
- Never leave the vinyl in the oven for more than 1 minute at a time.
- If any fumes come from the oven, remove the glass sheets and vinyl immediately and place outdoors or in a well-ventilated area."
