PROTOPLASMA" (Germany)
About 16 years from 1972 to 1988
PROTOPLASMA was probably one of the most enduring rock groups in northern Germany. Founded as a school band, the group soon blossomed into a popular "Rockgig", played at many festivals and was a guest on radio stations. Concerts with the likes of the German rock scene such as "birth-control", "Triumvirat", "Grobschnitt", "Jane" and "Epitaph" followed, as is common.
Tours with other bands, including "Missus Beastly".
Photo Band 1976 Thematically were first youth-specific ideas and dreams in the forefront of the texts, and later increase interest of young adults and always dreams of a free life in selfmade social responsibility. The band was also involved in the peace and ecology movement, and worked at various major events, such as the Easter marches to hear. Musically, initially between guitar rock and Psy-chedelic changed the sound to art later jazz and Latin rock flowed, and after several more trips back in the Melodic Rock.
Countless concert recordings, and demo productions give the music a lot-multiplication information. Until the band broke up in 1989 worked with over 20 musicians in various ensembles.
PROTO PLASMA, which is understood as a pure time of its existence, always have a live band, with their many appearances at the audience not only leave behind memories of beautiful concerts, but also written a piece of the North German rock history.
